Ilene Ivins
Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment 6-12Bio
Ilene Ivins is the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for 6-12 in the LA region. She was a high school special education teacher before coming to Aspire as a program specialist, and then most recently, she was the Director of Special Education for the LA region. She enjoys working with the specialist team and sites to employ practices that support all students in acquiring 21st century skills. Ilene holds a B.A. in English and a doctorate from USC.
Ilene spends her free time with her immediate and extended family, including her dog that she adopted from Aspire-Pacific Academy in 2013.
